Jingoist Leader
Mirabeau Buonaparte Lamar was born in 1797 in Louisville Georgia. The early days of his career are defined by limited successes around the news industry, even serving as the private secretary of the then Governor of Georgia for a few years.
He entered Texan history first as one of the volunteers led by Napoleon II, serving as one of his cavalrymen. He later fully joined the Texan, serving as the Secretary of War during their campaign into Guyana and against the Maroons.
Politically, he has advocated for the violent expansion of Texas territorially and the expansion of the Texan economy diplomatically. His stance towards the natives is genocidal, but is sometimes tempered by Burnet's own civilizing stance. Not that anyone knows what genocide means, though.
He has a known friendship with David Burnet.
