Biography

Julius von Krogh earned recognition through his work as editor on the newspaper Fædrelandet. This paper championed the liberal movement, and faced some resistance from the Crown. However, von Krogh's articles often centered more on support for King Frederick and centralizing power under the king. Despite this, he maintains a liberal bent with support for expanding citizenship to the Germans in Schleswig as well as a stronger separation of church and state.

With his articles being seemingly schizophrenic, he was fired as a writer and von Krogh eventually began a small printing operation in his father's basement. His articles focused more and more on a strong central government, and this was what drew the attention of von Stemann. A member of the Liberals who did not support expanding voting rights? He could be a useful pawn.

And so it was. Julius von Krogh has been nurtured under the wings of the Aristocracy of Officials, while simultaneously maintaining his status in the Liberal movement. And with a rowing need to pacify these Liberals, von Krogh was the obvious choice for a cabinet position. Now in charge of Foreign Affairs, few knew beforehand how sadistic Julius von Krogh could be.
