Gerard Nepveu

Gerard Nepveu was born in 27.5.1798 in small city Drachten in Friesland. At age of 30 he moved permamently to Batavia in Dutch East Indies colony. He gained a fast popularity with some small and officials of colony and locals. He openly critic current colony admnistration of not properly devoloping East Indies but also for harsh conditions in plantations for slaves and workers.
