Concerning news from the Continent reached London today, with Prussian and Russian soldiers reportedly fortifying their positions in Saxony and Poland, respectively, despite protests by Austria and Great Britain.
Currently, the powers of Europe are gathered in Vienna, Austria, to determine how to right the damage done by Napoleon to the European order. However, the fates of Poland and Saxony are far from certain, say sources close to Parliament. Britain, France, and Austria all have interests in preserving Saxony, Poland, or both, but these military maneuvers may indicate more expansionist ambitions from Berlin and St. Petersburg.
When asked for comment, members of His Majesty's government reassured this reporter that peace negotiations are ongoing, and that the reinforcements sent to Wellington's army in the lowlands are only a precautionary measure.
