War against Egypt
The news almost did not register to the Serbian government upon first hearing that Istanbul would be delivering a declaration of war to the sibling of Belgrade, Cairo. Almost in a trance, the Serbian government mobilized its troops to honour agreements with its benevolent overlord... yet perhaps an omen, logistics centers utterly failed to properly supply the Serbian troops sufficiently enough for them to inflict any damage to the Egyptian army.
The death of Miloš Obrenović
perhaps another omen in the midst of Serbia, the well celebrated and heavily supported (in particular by the Ottomans) ruler of Serbia, Miloš, passed away amidst of the war with Egypt. The unfortunate passing of Miloš has thrust the ill but surprisingly still-alive Milan Obrenović into the position head of state.
Serbian Prince, Mihailo Obrenović
Milan being a skilled but severely sickly Serb & with the considerations of the ongoing conflict - the position of heir to the throne had to be filled swiftly. Enter, Mihailo, the second son of Miloš and younger brother of Milan. He is also one of the first people to ever by inoculated by the new pharmaceuticals that Serbia had recently researched. The second son would be immune to the maladies that plagued the first. The second son also had much time to learn from both his father and older brother. Because Milan was, obviously, unable to produce any heirs of his own, Mihailo was quickly positioned to be the new Prince of Serbia.
He is known to be a rather cautious but determined boy, and one that is expected to bring great reform to Serbia.
