By player
The 30th of July 1830 at the Chateau of Raincy, Louis-Philippe, duke of Orleans is hesitant. The ordinance of Charles X birthed a revolution in the capital and he k.now that many deputies would like to see him become the new King. But he’s not sure, Charles X is still king and a direct opposition to him would be risked. It’s better to avoid trouble.
“Oudard arrived with a message from your sister sire”
The deputies came from him at Neuilly. They say that Charles X can't be king anymore and that only he can prevent anarchy in France. They want him to become Lieutenant General of the Kingdom. It’s good, they don't say in name of who he would be so even if the King comes back, he can hold the position in his name. He must go, maybe it’s time for less avoiding troubles and more handshaking.
The next day he’ll make an official declaration
"Inhabitants of Paris! The deputies of France, currently assembled in Paris, have expressed the wish that I come to the capital to assume the duties of Lieutenant General of the Kingdom. I did not hesitate to come and share your dangers, to place myself in the midst of your heroic population, and to exert every effort to save you from civil war and anarchy. Upon re-entering Paris, I proudly wore those glorious colors which you have reclaimed, and which I myself had long worn. The Chambers are about to convene; they will devise the means to ensure the rule of law and the preservation of the nation's rights. The Charter shall henceforth be a reality.”
9 days later he will be proclaimed, not King of France, but King of the French
